Resources
The Resources tool is the central storage hub of your Sakai course site.
- All of your course documents and files (including any images you use in your site) will reside in Resources.
- For files that you want to share with students – such as PowerPoints or handouts or images – a good practice is to add them to the Resources area in your course site first. Later, if you like, you can link to them from most any place in the course site.
- You can make folders within Resources to keep things organized and to make it easy for you and your students to find things.
- Every Sakai site has its own Resources area. By default, anything you put in Resources in a particular course site can be seen by anyone who has access to that site (including your students). You can hide specific folders from students or set dates when they will be visible to students. If a folder is hidden, students won’t be able to see it or any of its contents (but the instructor can).
