Screencast-O-Matic Install Instructions

===To download the Screencast-O-Matic launcher:

• • • In the middle of the web page, click on the Download launcher link
    • Click on the dialog box for the Installer, then click on the Save File button
    • In the upper right area of your Firefox toolbar, click on the down-facing blue download button
    • Click on the Install file, then click on the "Run" button; you'll receive a pop-up letting you know the Screen Recorder is ready.
    • In the middle of the web page, you'll see the message "Download Started!", below it, click on the "try again" link;

you'll see a pop-up window, click "OK"; you'll now see the Recorder appear.

• To restart it:
  • Click on the Home button on the Screencast-o-Matic web page
  • Click on the Start Recording button
  • Click OK on the pop-up
• Otherwise, to Download the full app:
  • Under Frequently Asked Questions, under the first question "What if I can't get it to work in the browser?", click on the link to "Download the full app install"
    • You'll need to save the install file and after it downloads, click on the file and run it. Click Next, then Install. I suggest you click beside "Create Desktop Shortcut", then click Finish. Click on "FREE Recorder".
    • You're now ready to record your screen or use your webcam to create a video recording.
