Advanced: Desktop Sharing
You can share whatever you display on your desktop to your students, such as Sakai, a Word document you want to edit, or a Spreadsheet you want to add a formula to.
- What does an instructor need to do to share their desktop?
- Important: You must download Java (BigBlueButton).
- See the Meetings Computer Requirements for instructions for setting up Java on your computer.

- How does an instructor share their desktop on Mac OS X?
- Can an instructor share a video while sharing their desktop? NO.
- Students would not hear the video (but the instructor would).
- To share a video, share the link to the video in the Chat box.
