Computer Lab Schedule: Fall 2007

There are several computer labs on Durham Tech's campus that students may use for educational purposes. Lab Monitors are on duty in several labs to assist with basic computer questions. All labs offer Internet access. Labs will be closed on Durham Tech holidays. View the Academic Calendar for a listing of important campus dates.

Student IDs

NEW for Fall 2007!

  • Students are required to present a valid Durham Tech Student ID before entering any campus lab.
  • NEW! Students are required to go to the Campus Security Office once a year to obtain an "Academic Year" student ID.
  • NEW! Your NEW Student ID Number is printed on your ID. You will need your Student ID Number to access all campus resources including: using campus computer labs, accessing online courses in Blackboard, registering for classes, checking out books, purchasing items from the bookstore, etc.

Lab Policies and Rules

  • While in the lab, students must abide by Durham Tech's Appropriate Use of Computing Resources Policy and posted lab rules.
  • NO food, drinks, or children are allowed in any campus lab.
  • Loud talking is prohibited in any campus lab.
  • Cell phones must be turned off or on vibrate while in any campus lab.

Information Systems Computer Lab
965 (2nd Floor) Technology Center

Monday - Thursday: 8:30am - 8:30pm
Friday: 8:30am - 2:00pm
* Primarily for students taking Information Systems courses (but also open to all Durham Tech students).
* Valid Durham Tech Student ID required.
* Lab Monitor on duty.
Health Tech Computer Lab
963 (2nd Floor) Technology Center
Main Campus (Cooper Street)
Monday - Thursday: 8:30am - 8:30pm
Friday: 8:30am - 2:00pm
* Open to students taking courses in the Health Tech department.
* Valid Durham Tech Student ID required.
* Lab Monitor on duty in 965 Tech Center for help with printer and basic computer questions.
Foreign Language Computer Lab
318 (1st Floor) Phillips Building

Hours of operation vary from semester to semester. Check the door, 318 Phillips, for a posting of the most recent hours.
* Open to students taking foreign language courses.
* Valid Durham Tech Student ID required.
* Lab Monitor on duty.
Math-Science Computer Lab
209 Collins Building
Main Campus (Lawson Street)
Hours of operation vary from semester to semester. Check the door, 209 Collins, for a posting of the most recent hours. * When not in use by Math and Science classes, provides some open lab hours for students.

* Lab Monitor on duty.
Networking Computer Lab
