Preparing your syllabus
Durham Tech instructors are expected to use the syllabus template available on the Faculty Resources web page. Check with your supervisor to find out if your department has additional syllabus requirements.
About the Syllabus tool
Sakai's Syllabus tool provides a place in the course site for the instructor to post a syllabus and for students to access the syllabus. There are 3 basic ways an instructor can add a syllabus to Sakai:
- As a file attachment - Easiest and recommended method!
- Copy/paste from Word
- Create a multi-part syllabus by adding a series of individual items
