To caption a Mix, it will first need to be uploaded to Office Mix as a video. Additional steps to caption the Mix are included in the Captions section of Table 1: Testing Notes below. Post a transcript for the Mix separately (as a text file or Word document) in Sakai, near the link to the Mix. At this time, incorporating Mix activities (polls, quizzes, Kahn Academy videos, and Web Viewer) is not recommended. Unfortunately, assistive technology users will not find them readily useable. If you wish to incorporate a Mix activity, please consider how you can also offer an equal, alternative in Sakai.	Turning captions on overrides the Viewer controls. The keyboard-only user can toggle between the captions and the Viewer controls by pressing the Enter key. Consider further testing on mobile devices and with NVDA to learn more about how Mix performs. 03/24/17	NVDA unable to read math in Office Mix interactive questions and answer choices.	Configuration: MS Office 2013, 64 bit professional plus edition MathType installed screen reader tester: Windows 10 laptop NVDA 2017.1 Firefox 45.7 ESR plus has MathType and MathPlayer installed and configured to read for blindness There are several issues at hand: When composing a math question in Office Mix, author is unable to access the MathType tab on the PowerPoint Ribbon; however, Mix allows the author to input LaTeX into the question field of interactive quizzes via the native Math Tool in the question palette. Video of math instructor creating an Office Mix (5:48) Author is unable to use the Math Tool in the feedback field (instructor must type math feedback long hand). Despite authoring the question with what appears to be LaTeX, NVDA is unable to successfully read the equation(s). Video of NVDA user reading math in Office Mix (5:20) PCC did test their configuration to make sure NVDA could read MathType in a word document and it did with no problem. They also tried Windows Narrator screen reader, but it can't read it either nor could it read MathType in a word document. Also tested NVDA on LaTeX in a word document by toggling the MathType to TeX and NVDA could read that, but it was LaTeX code which most math students don't know, so it wouldn't be helpful even if that's what Office Mix output, which it doesn't.	None, at this time. Karen Sorensen notes, "The Office Mix interactive editor creates LaTeX for input but the output is a display math version that's not accessible, so that seems to be the problem. [She] called the Microsoft Disability Answer Desk and they told me that Office Mix is still being tested and they welcome Office Mix feedback...otherwise Office Mix is accessible to screen readers, assuming the instructor narrates the slides well or provides the actual PPT."	There are other types of interactive quizzes that can be created for Office Mix that should also be tested.
