Why can't my student resubmit their assignment?

Submission versus Resubmission

• In the sample below, the instructor has:
  • Set an open date, when the assignment will be available to students
  • To the left of number 1, after the open date, set a matching close and due until dates
  • To the left of number 2, after the close/due until dates, set a resubmission number allowed and date/time

Assignment due date/due until has a number 1 beside it, resubmission date has a number 2 beside it

• What can students do before the due date/due until date?
  • Students can submit and resubmit assignments.

• What can students do after the due date/due until date?
  • Only students who have already submitted an assignment can resubmit assignments.

• What can students do who never submitted the assignment?
  • Students who never submitted the assignment before the due date/due until date, will not be able to submit the assignment after the due date/due until date.
  • Only resubmissions, not submissions are allowed, after the due date/due until date, and before the resubmission due date/time.
  • These students will have to email their assignment to their instructor.
